newbury show

well... we had our first ever murvi owners convention (!). A big title for 10 of us getting together quite by accident, not by design, at the Newbury Motorhome / Camping show over the weekend. It was great to meet you- and we got two new members! So, welcome to Nick and Audrey, and to John and Jan and nice to meet Rob and Anne- and it was good to see Leigh and Annabel there. We sat in the blazing hot morning sun , quietly baking away and had a good time sharing stories, additional conversion tips (thanks for those, guys!) and coffee. l look forward to Cheshire, where there will be a few more of us, and the sight of several Murvis all in one bloc should be quite something- another first.

We are off to the gorgeous Quantocks for 4 days, with a friend's wedding in the middle of it- hope the sun stays out.

For our spring trip in the van this year we are going to Scandinavia, leaving on May 13 and returning on 19 June. Hello fellow MurviLovers

Thanks to Pam and Paul's efforts we have the first two events in the calendar giving us all a chance to meet up. We wondered whether there is any interest in adding a third? We are booked to visit The Great Dorset Steam Fair and camp between Tuesday 31 August and Friday 3 September. It will be our first visit but we have seen TV coverage of this great event in past years and have had it listed as something we must do when 'we have time'. Well this summer is our first summer of 'having time' so we are going. Are there any other MurviLovers interested in joining us?
